What stays on your device
Everything you enter: foods, fluids, recipes, targets, notes, lab values, blood pressure, weight, dialysis days and profiles. Renalday has no server and no account. We cannot see, read or recover your data.
What Renalday does not do
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs that collect data.
- Renalday does not store your health information in iCloud.
- Renalday does not read from or write to Apple Health.
Camera and microphone
The camera is used only on your phone to read barcodes and nutrition labels. Dictation is processed on your phone. Images and audio are not saved or sent anywhere.
Backups and exports
You can create a backup file protected by a password you choose, or export a PDF or CSV. These files are created only when you ask, and you decide where to save or send them. If you forget the backup password, it cannot be recovered.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple. We receive no payment details.
Your device's own backup
Like other apps, Renalday's data can be included in your device backup if you have turned that on in iOS settings. That backup is managed by Apple under your settings.
